What Is Our Daily Bread?

Probably one of the hardest parts of loving a prodigal is that we feel out of control. Don’t you hate it? You can’t make things happen the way you want.

In today’s video episode, John Ortberg helps us to understand about praying for today's needs. Yes, sometimes God reveals the future, or gives us answers to our prayers that work out over a longer time. But basically, God asks us to trust Him for today.

God loves our prodigals. He desires for them to return. But He deeply desires for an intimacy of relationship with each of us.. He desires to give us each day “our daily bread.”
